Trees are my business

I began my career by working in commercial forestry and trained as a tree surgeon in 2007 at the Royal Agricultural College. I quickly grew to love working with trees, managing their long term health and balancing their needs with our own.

I also have a passion for making furniture from the trees which would otherwise become firewood and I take commissions offering bespoke designs with very special timbers. I can offer a mobile sawmilling service as well as seasoned firewood and woodchip mulch

We can service anywhere in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire and will be happy to offer a free estimate or advice over the phone.

Trees in the wild flourish perfectly well without human interference, but when we must share our space with them they can require careful management by tree surgeons.

Crown reductions, thinning, pollarding and deadwooding are the best tools to keep a tree safe and continuing to grow healthily. Sometimes it will need removing completely and we always offer to plant a free replacement tree of a species suitable to its environment.

In the past people always made best use of the incredible resource that is the tree. Nothing was wasted - tree and woodland management were done to ensure future generations would continue to benefit from what they offer. We reflect this attitude in our practices.
